Quick Guide

  • Warm reddish-bronze foliage year-round

  • Cherry-red flower spikes in late spring

  • Compact clump ideal for borders/containers

  • Thrives in sun or partial shade

  • Fully hardy across most of UK

Heuchera ‘Cherry Cola’ presents a vivid swirl of rich cherry-bronze leaves that glow like autumn embers in a shaded bed or container. In late spring and early summer slender stems rise above the foliage, bearing bell-shaped cherry-red flowers that add height, movement and colour contrast. In a UK garden it works beautifully at the front of a border, in mixed perennial schemes or tucked into a patio pot with silver-leaved companions such as Stachys byzantina or Lavender. Pair it with deep-green ferns or blue-leaved Hosta to accentuate its warm tones, or set it alongside silvery grasses for a modern, textured look. With its evergreen to semi-evergreen habit, this cultivar brings interest through the seasons, making it a vibrant and versatile choice for low-maintenance colour in beds or containers.

Plant Care Guide

Plant in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, choosing a position of full sun to light shade — the foliage deepens in colour with some sun, though overly intense midday sun may scorch the leaves. Water well after planting to aid establishment, then moderate watering thereafter; avoid letting soil become water-logged or bone-dry. Remove spent flower stems to keep the mound tidy, and carve back any damaged or woody outer leaves. Every 2–3 years divide the clump in early spring or autumn to refresh growth and maintain vigour.

For London postcodes outside a 5-mile radius of our Kentish Town garden centre, we may occasionally use a third-party courier for delivery. Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If there is any discrepancy — such as a missing, incorrect, or damaged item — please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can put things right. Items bought in-store or collected can be returned directly at the garden centre. If you would like us to collect a return and it is in good condition (e.g. you have changed your mind), it must be in its original condition, and the same delivery cost will apply for the return.

Plants marked as reduced for end-of-season clearance are non-refundable, as they are sold specifically to clear stock. This does not apply to special offers or multibuy promotions, which are eligible for returns as per our standard terms.
