Quick Guide

• Variegated green and white foliage

• Pale pink summer flowers

• Compact, bushy growth

• Culinary and ornamental use

• Attracts pollinators

Thymus ‘Silver Posie’, commonly known as Variegated Thyme, is a delightful and versatile herb that combines both beauty and utility. This dwarf, bushy evergreen shrub features aromatic, grey-green leaves edged with creamy white margins, which occasionally take on a hint of pink during cooler months. In summer, the plant produces a profusion of small, pale pink flowers that attract bees and other pollinators, making it an excellent addition to pollinator-friendly gardens.

‘Silver Posie’ is perfect for use in herb gardens, borders, rockeries, and containers. Its compact growth habit also makes it an ideal choice for edging paths or planting in between stepping stones. Not only is it an attractive ornamental plant, but its aromatic leaves are also great for culinary use, adding a subtle lemony flavor to various dishes

Plant Care Guide

Plant Thymus ‘Silver Posie’ in well-draining soil in a sunny location. This thyme variety is drought-tolerant and requires very little water once established. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain its shape and encourage new growth. It is hardy and can withstand typical UK winter conditions, although it benefits from protection during severe frosts.
