- Small ivy softens the rim

Winter light in London is short and often grey, which is when white flowers earn their place. The Portsmouth Bowl pairs a white cyclamen with a white winter heather in a low, wide outdoor planter. A primrose and bugle fill in around them, and a small ivy softens the rim.
Because it sits low, it's at its best wherever you look down on it: beside the front door, on the top step, on a courtyard table or the floor of a balcony. It's the first thing you see coming home in the dark and the last thing you pass on the way out in the morning. Even on a dull day, the white flowers catch what light there is.
Each bowl is made to order and planted by hand at Boma in Kentish Town, so it comes to you filled and finished rather than as a weekend project. If you'd like something rounder than a window box, this garden plant pot does the same job at ground level.
Product Care Guide
Stand it outside in good light, ideally somewhere you'll pass every day. Water when the top of the compost feels dry, aiming at the soil rather than the cyclamen leaves, and make sure excess water can drain away. Growth is slow in winter, so it won't need feeding until spring. In a hard frost, move it against a house wall or into a porch. Pull off faded cyclamen flowers and their stalks with a gentle twist to keep it tidy. When the display is past its best, the ivy, heather and bugle can move into a border or a bigger planter.

Items bought in-store or collected can be returned directly at the garden centre. If you would like us to collect a return and it is in good condition (e.g. you have changed your mind), it must be in its original condition, and the same delivery cost will apply for the return.
Plants marked as reduced for end-of-season clearance are non-refundable, as they are sold specifically to clear stock. This does not apply to special offers or multibuy promotions, which are eligible for returns as per our standard terms.
