Quick Guide
- Prolific flowers from August through November
- Colours range from white to deep burgundy
- Thrive in full sun with minimal fuss
- Ideal for pots, borders and containers
- Hardy perennial returns year after year
Chrysanthemum brings long-lasting colour when most other plants fade. These reliable perennials flower abundantly from late summer until the first hard frosts, with blooms in white, yellow, pink, red, purple, orange and bronze in flower forms ranging from simple daisies to full pompoms.
Plant in a sunny spot in well-drained soil, water regularly during the growing season, and deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms. They're hardy in most of the UK and will return each year. Please note: this is a mixed cultivar product. The colour, form and exact appearance of the plant you receive may differ from this photograph, as mixes vary between batches.
The picture is an illustration. Mixes vary from batch to batch, so the colour and form of the plant you receive may differ from the one shown.
Plant Guide
Plant outdoors in a sunny, sheltered position with well-drained soil after the last frosts. Water regularly during growth and feed fortnightly with a balanced feed from midsummer. Pinch out the growing tips before mid-June to encourage bushier plants with more flowers. As a perennial, it will return each year if given good drainage. In cold gardens with heavy soil, mulch generously in autumn or consider lifting plants for frost-free storage over winter.
