Quick Guide
We plant each one to match the photo as closely as we can. If a plant or pot isn't available, we'll swap in a close match so the overall look is the same.
- Low terracotta bowl with five winter plants
- Purple cyclamen with two pansies alongside
- Corkscrew rush adds curly, twisting stems
- Cream-and-green euonymus puts colour in the leaves too
- Sits well on a step, table or balcony
- Pick off faded pansy flowers to keep it tidy
- Keep the euonymus and rush for a replant
Purple and cream, with a twist. Bosman's Winter Bowl sets a purple cyclamen beside two pansies in a low terracotta bowl, then adds a corkscrew rush whose stems curl off in all directions, as if someone doodled them in. It's the part people tend to ask about.
A euonymus with cream-splashed leaves sits alongside, so the colour carries on in the foliage when the flowers take a breather. Because the bowl is wide and open, you see the whole arrangement from above, which suits the step by your door, a courtyard table or the corner of a balcony you can see from the sofa.
When the cyclamen and pansies have had their season, keep the euonymus and the rush and plant fresh colour around them.
Plant Care
Give it a bright spot outdoors, as cyclamen and pansies flower best with good light. Water when the top of the compost feels dry, and less in cold, wet spells, because the roots dislike sitting soggy. A light liquid feed every few weeks helps the pansies. Pick off faded pansy flowers and yellowing cyclamen leaves. In a hard frost, move the bowl somewhere sheltered against the house. When the flowers finish, keep the euonymus and rush and replant around them. Pot feet under the bowl help it drain.

Third-Party Couriers
For London postcodes outside a 5-mile radius of our Kentish Town garden centre, we may occasionally use a third-party courier for delivery. In these cases, we try our best to still deliver the items in the requested delivery time slot but please be aware that occasionally this may not always be possible and is out of our control.
Delivery Discrepancies
Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If there is any discrepancy — such as a missing, incorrect, or damaged item — please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can put things right. Returns Policy
If you need to return an item, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to arrange a return or exchange. Products must be in their original condition and packaging. Plants may be non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Items bought in-store or collected can be returned directly at the garden centre. If you would like us to collect a return and it is in good condition (e.g. you have changed your mind), it must be in its original condition, and the same delivery cost will apply for the return.
Plants marked as reduced for end-of-season clearance are non-refundable, as they are sold specifically to clear stock. This does not apply to special offers or multibuy promotions, which are eligible for returns as per our standard terms.
