Quick Guide
We plant each one to match the photo as closely as we can. If a plant or pot isn't available, we'll swap in a close match so the overall look is the same.
- Clipped lollipop bay above a ring of purple cyclamen
- Rounded egg-shaped pot in a soft aqua glaze
- Purple and aqua: cool, bright and slightly unexpected
- Height without bulk for courtyards and balconies
- Evergreen bay holds its neat shape with trimming
- Bay leaves for cooking, picked fresh from the tree
- Replant around the bay when the cyclamen finish
A neat ball of bay on a slim stem, four purple cyclamen gathered round its feet, and all of it in a rounded egg pot in soft aqua. The purple and aqua sit well together: cool, bright and a little unexpected on a winter morning.
It's made for the places people see first. Beside a front door, at the top of the steps, by the gate in a small front garden, or on a balcony you can see from indoors. The lollipop shape gives height without taking up much floor, so it suits a tight courtyard as well as a wide terrace.
The cyclamen bring the seasonal colour. The bay is the part that stays, evergreen and tidy, with leaves you can pick for a stew on your way in. When the flowers finish, it's ready for whatever you plant round it next.
Plant Care
Give it a bright spot out of harsh wind. Water when the top of the compost feels dry, pouring round the edge so the cyclamen crowns stay dry, and never leave it sitting in water. Twist off faded cyclamen flowers and yellowing leaves at the base to keep it looking fresh. In a hard frost, move it somewhere sheltered, such as against the house. Feed the bay lightly in spring and summer. When the cyclamen fade, lift them and replant. A pair either side of a door looks especially smart.

Third-Party Couriers
For London postcodes outside a 5-mile radius of our Kentish Town garden centre, we may occasionally use a third-party courier for delivery. In these cases, we try our best to still deliver the items in the requested delivery time slot but please be aware that occasionally this may not always be possible and is out of our control.

Returns Policy
If you need to return an item, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to arrange a return or exchange. Products must be in their original condition and packaging. Plants may be non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Items bought in-store or collected can be returned directly at the garden centre. If you would like us to collect a return and it is in good condition (e.g. you have changed your mind), it must be in its original condition, and the same delivery cost will apply for the return.
Plants marked as reduced for end-of-season clearance are non-refundable, as they are sold specifically to clear stock. This does not apply to special offers or multibuy promotions, which are eligible for returns as per our standard terms.
