This Red Pixie has bright red flower buds that open to soft pale pink highly fragranced blooms. Flowering from late May to June it is a welcoming sign that signals the arrival of summer.

Red Pixie is a dwarf variety of Korean Lilac reaching 1.5m. This Makes it ideal for a tiny suburban garden.

Dwarf Lilac will help you create a garden pollinators flock to in the spring.

This Dwarf Lilac has had the honour of receiving the RHS Award of Garden Merit for being a fantastic performing reliable garden plant.

Planting Guide

If your are planting a Dwarf Lilac in the garden, lightly fork over to loosen the soil. Add in organic matter by digging in some Peat-free John Innes compost. Once the soil is mixed, dig a small hole with a spade and add to the bottom of the planting hole a generous handful of Mycorrhizal fungi. Place the Dwarf Lilac and back-fill with soil. Make sure you have not buried the plant lower in the ground than it was in the pot.  After planting, firm the soil around the plant so the plants roots are in touch with the garden soil. After planting water thoroughly, make sure the soil is moist but not too wet for the first two weeks.

Apply a ground fertilizer of Q4 pellets in late spring after risks of frosts have passed

Summer

Light prune after flowering to maintain plant vigour and plant shape

Autumn

Remove died leaves from around the base of the plant as they fall in autumn to risk leave problems being passed on next year to the new foliage

Delivery Timeframes

We aim to deliver orders within 2–4 working days. During peak seasons, such as Christmas, delivery times may vary slightly due to increased demand. We will keep you informed at every stage.

Click & Collect

We encourage you to collect from our garden centre in Kentish Town — it saves on delivery costs and gives you the chance to see our full range of plants and products in person.

All Click & Collect orders must be collected within 7 days of being ready, unless a later date has been arranged with us in advance. If an order is not collected within this time, it will be cancelled and a refund issued.

Returns Policy

If you need to return an item, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to arrange a return or exchange. Products must be in their original condition and packaging. Plants may be non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Items bought in-store or collected can be returned directly at the garden centre. If you would like us to collect a return and it is in good condition (e.g. you have changed your mind), it must be in its original condition, and the same delivery cost will apply for the return.

Plants marked as reduced for end-of-season clearance are non-refundable, as they are sold specifically to clear stock. This does not apply to special offers or multibuy promotions, which are eligible for returns as per our standard terms.
