Dianthus ‘Scented Memories’ is a refined, compact garden pink grown for its pristine double white flowers and exceptional clove-like fragrance. Each bloom forms a finely fringed rosette of layered petals, opening from tight buds into soft, ruffled discs with a subtle creamy eye. The flowers sit just above a neat cushion of slender blue-grey foliage, creating a crisp contrast that brings light and structure to planting schemes.
Perfect for the front of a sunny border, gravel gardens, alpine beds or patio containers, this variety excels where fragrance can be enjoyed up close — near paths, doorways or seating areas. Its cool white tones pair beautifully with lavender, nepeta, artemisia and low-growing salvias, as well as soft pastel planting schemes.
A modern successor to traditional pinks, it combines the nostalgic perfume of older varieties with a more compact, garden-friendly habit. With regular deadheading, it will continue to produce fresh flowers through summer, maintaining a clean, elegant presence.
Plant Care Guide
Grow Dianthus ‘Scented Memories’ in full sun in very well-drained soil or compost. It prefers neutral to alkaline conditions and will not tolerate sitting in wet soil, particularly in winter. If planting in heavier ground, incorporate horticultural grit to improve drainage.
Water regularly while establishing, then reduce watering once settled, only during prolonged dry spells. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to support flowering. Deadhead spent blooms frequently to encourage repeat flowering and maintain a tidy appearance.
After the main flowering period, lightly trim back to keep the plant compact and encourage fresh growth. Ensure good air circulation around the plant to reduce the risk of disease. In containers, always use pots with excellent drainage.

Delivery Timeframes
We aim to deliver orders within 2–4 working days. During peak seasons, such as Christmas, delivery times may vary slightly due to increased demand. We will keep you informed at every stage.
Third-Party Couriers
For London postcodes outside a 5-mile radius of our Kentish Town garden centre, we may occasionally use a third-party courier for delivery. In these cases, we try our best to still deliver the items in the requested delivery time slot but please be aware that occasionally this may not always be possible and is out of our control.
Click & Collect
We encourage you to collect from our garden centre in Kentish Town — it saves on delivery costs and gives you the chance to see our full range of plants and products in person.
All Click & Collect orders must be collected within 7 days of being ready, unless a later date has been arranged with us in advance. If an order is not collected within this time, it will be cancelled and a refund issued.
Returns Policy
If you need to return an item, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to arrange a return or exchange. Products must be in their original condition and packaging. Plants may be non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Items bought in-store or collected can be returned directly at the garden centre. If you would like us to collect a return and it is in good condition (e.g. you have changed your mind), it must be in its original condition, and the same delivery cost will apply for the return.
Plants marked as reduced for end-of-season clearance are non-refundable, as they are sold specifically to clear stock. This does not apply to special offers or multibuy promotions, which are eligible for returns as per our standard terms.
