Viola cornuta Find Out More

Vivid, colourful flowers appear early in summer with fresh green foliage. Viola cornuta is a gardeners favourite with its fabulous scent and display. Growing is a breeze and suited to most settings. Ideal potted in the front door or bordering paths in the garden or leading to the front door.

Salvia rosmarinus (Rosemary) Find Out More

Now considered a genus of the Sage family, Rosemary plant care is easy to grow, in well-drained, sandy soil and six to eight hours of sunlight. Rosemary thrives in warm, humid environments. Therefore it's better grown in a pot, to bring them indoors in extreme cold.

Skimmia japonica 'Rubella' Find Out More

An easy-care plant to brighten up a pot near your front door, Skimmia has luscious evergreen leaves covered with bright red berries in the winter, vividly contrasting its dark green foliage.  The berries are followed by panicles of tiny white scented flowers in the spring. Great for attracting birds.

Lavandula (Lavender) Find Out More

An easy to grow shrub that flowers in late spring and throughout summer, Lavender is renowned for its spectacular aroma, with evergreen silver-grey foliage. Best planted in spring, in free-draining soil, Lavender thrives in the full sun, being drought tolerant.

Helleborus niger (Christmas Rose) Find Out More

What would the winter be without the Christmas Rose? This evergreen perennial of the buttercup family will brighten your winter, resembling wild roses but not of the same family. Grown in moist, well-drained soil in partial shade, if pruned, new foliage will appear.

Salvia jamensis ‘Hot Lips’ Find Out More

Of striking colour and perfect near a path or bench, Salvia jamensis 'Hot Lips' has delightful bloom and aromatic foliage. Bees adore them. Plant them in well-drained soil in a location with full sun, but avoid extreme winters.

Geranium (Zonal) Pelargonium Find Out More

Popular at the Boma, bedding pelargoniums are superb summer winners, with clusters of flowers on long stalks, with rounded leaves. Their striking variety of colours, including white, pink, orange, scarlet and dark red, are perfect for patios and window boxes.

Phormium 'Jester' Find Out More

Also known as Flax Lily, Phormium 'Jester' is an evergreen perennial with erect, clump-forming long, slender leaves. Most remarkable are the bright pink colours striated with green. Come summer, they sometimes produce tubular red flowers protruding above the foliage.
